We love new projects!
Let's get started.

Founded in 1954 by Riverland engineer John and his wife Joy Ruston, in a small shed on Mourna Street in Renmark, J & J Ruston Engineers continues, as Ruston Engineers, under the direction of Peter Ruston & a team of dedicated employees, from its base in Industry Park, Renmark, South Australia.

Ruston Engineers was established to supply & repair equipment to the irrigated Horticulture industry within the Riverland and beyond.

To further strengthen our business base Ruston Engineers, together with Seed & Forage Bags Pty Ltd, established, in 2006, a design & manufacturing alliance to produce silo bag filling machines for the Agricultural sector.

Our reputation as a provider of irrigation pump, pipe manifolding, civil construction & installation has been enhanced with the completion of large scale projects for CMV Farms, Lyrup Village Settlement Trust, Banrock Station & Euston Irrigation.

Ruston Engineers have recently been working with large Companies like Riverland Irrigation Trust (R.I.T.), Leed Engineering and Exact Mining, building and suppling large pump houses, pumps, electric motors, tanks and tank stands, piping and irrigating for Dams, treatment plants and the various needs of the mining industry right across Australia.
Buildings without a foundation:
It’s precisely what would happen if we didn’t incorporate our core values into every job we do. They strengthen our entire team and client relationships, and they guide our business practices, strategy and vision.

At Ruston Engineers, we stand by our core values:
  • Exhibit integrity in everything we do.
  • Listen, identify and respond to customer needs.
  • Provide quality, on schedule, at a competitive price.
  • Respect, challenge
             and recognise each employee.

Ensure a safe working environment.
Safety is not just one of our priorities – because those can change – it’s one of our core values.
From the bottom of the ladder to the very top, the responsibility of having a safe working environment applies to everyone. It’s an issue that seems so obvious, but without the proper culture, rules and guidelines to support it, there’s the potential of it being overlooked.  Not at Ruston Engineering. When providing our services, safety is constantly at the top of our list.
